Tribal Art Sale at Heritage

On November 6, 2015, Heritage will hold a sale featuring American Indian, Pre-Columbian, and tribal art. The Pre-Columbian element of the sale is strong in Central and South American goldwork and other jewelry, and Native American beadwork, pipes, and jewelry will also be offered. The centerpiece of the sale will be the Howard and Catherine Feldman Collection, which features more than 350 masks, largely from Mexico and the Himalayas, as well as a substantial number of Congo maskettes.

Tribal Art Sale at Bonhams

Tribal Art Sale at Neumeister

A sale of fine tribal art and artifacts will be presented at Neumeister in Cologne on May 17th. A guided tour through the auction's lots with Dr. Karl-Ferdinand Schädler and Dieter-Maria Scheppach, Neumeister's expert on tribal and African art, will be held on Thursday 15th between 6 and 8pm. A wide range of material will be offered, from ancient Mexican stone reliefs to Oceanic masks.

Tribal Art Sale at Bonhams

Bonhams will present an autumn sale of fine African, Oceanic and pre-Columbian art on November 14. The show's major highlight - among the range of other exquisite offerings - is a magnificent Baga shoulder mask representing a beautiful mother from Guinea, estimated between $400,000–600,000.
